these guys never come out when the lights are on i forget what wattage it is but it came w/the tank(24" bulb for a 36" tank )they do dart around when i feed them during the day but after that they poof!! vanish into a corner and just sit there looking spooked all the time,i lost a few already but the others seem fine except for the light thing.
i need the lights for my live plants,theyr stay on from 8 am to about 10 pm,what should i do?should i add more and see if they pose as dithers?i dunno HELP!!!!

As many as poss mos. Like the Indian Glass Cat they need numbers, for confidence. This may take time to build. Try putting more branch type bogwood in the tank at an angle to look like submerged roots for cover (away from plants)... they may need total shade to feel happy, but still open bits of shaded space, if you catch my drift...

does the floor move much when you walk around often they are being spooked by the small vibrations that you make walking round your room. its weird but i hardly moove in my room now and they come out more my bro just came down for a coup[le of days and i figured something was odd but they all started to hide. while he jumps around the room could be something like that all fish are a little edgey for the first few months i find as they settle in once people stop banging doors or they just get used to it.
