The Bulb on my Luminaire went last night.
been looking for a replacement and can't find one anywhere online, or phone email.

Its a full length 48" bulb.

Took the Luminaire to an Electrician who said hecan take the current wiring out and replace it for standard Aquarium Tubes.

So i was thinking of using a strip light. The Tubes say they are 36W 4000K i think. make a box from MDF.

the voltage is different on them thats why he's asking

i actually run arcadia tubes on them without a problem and ive never had a bulb go yet and ive been running one for over a year always worth a shot :good:

cool. thanks.

sorry wattage is different my bad

the dymax tubes r a lower wattage than the arcadia ones

How much do they differ ? I have run smaller tubes on gear meant for big tubes... its the other way round thats a problem !
Ie my dad had a shop when I was a kid, when he packed up I inherited a load of 4 foot flourescent fittings... which go stripped and ran 2 foot tubes for decades ! :good:
