I saw a fish that looked like that the other day. Didnt know what it was. Maybe you can get them??? hmm...is strange tho...

Since it's scientific name is different from that of the Zebra Danio, I'm guessing isn't a dyed version, but an actually different species. I've only heard of the "Blue Danio" at one source before this, so I can't give more info than that. Maybe they're just rare? I imagine they'd be on many aquarists' lists to "boycott" if they were died...

Brachydanio kerri is "bluish" under the right lighting. What you will often find is a somewhat exagerrated description or drawing showing a dazzling blue fish, when you see it in reality, small, farm bred and stressed, it looks like another silver danio.
