Hello everyone,

I recently purchased three 'mixed fruit tetras' from a (big, blue, unnamed building that sells discount everything) store the other day. After some research, the cool colored tetras I bought were in fact a type of dyed tetra. To my dismay, I was bummed I got took & actually purchased some dyed fish. But, instead of bringing them back, I want to try to keep these things alive. Does anyone have any experience keeping these things? Better yet, does anyone have experience with keeping these fish alive? I've read that if the fish are kept in good condition - that the dye will fade and they will return to their normal (albino?) color? I don't want to start a thread about dyed fish or the stores that sell them, just how to help them back to a healthy life. Since these tetras are so cool looking(the fish itself, not the color). Again, any feedback or response on keeping these fish is appreciated.....

Basically I think provide what would be a good life for normal tetras- clean water, a good varied diet, with quality flakes and occasional treats of live food.

dying fish is wrong u should complain to the warehouse wer u got ur fish and ask for a refund if they fish have been dyed they are likely to be ill
