Dyed Parrotts?

I went to a LFS that had been recommended to me by a friend and they had some bright pink Parrott cichlids and bright yellow ones too. Called (imaginatively) Rhubarb and Custard Parrott Cichlids.

I know they can come in a variety of colours but have never seen bright pink or bright yellow. Could these be dyed ones??

yes, they probably are. Its a sick practice. I wouldn't go back to that LFS.

the pink and yellows are as far as I'm awear nateral colours.

It's the purples, greens and other colours that are dyed.

yeap, helterskelter is right. parrots do come in colours ranging from bright red to orange to bright yellow. they are not dyed.

Ive seen white parrots with I <3 you on them. HOw do they do that?
