I don't think so - I got a few pics of the fallen - 3 more last night - one was almost completely eaten by the snails, but I got pics of these two - one curled in and one did not View attachment 98365

I only asked because I found a damselfly nymph yesterday, it had been hiding in some new plants, I thought at first it was some type of shrimp. I have ghost shrimp.

So the tap water is good but once in the tank, the Ph goes down to 6.0 - it has been a perfect 7.0 - 7.5 range for 8 months - what has happened?

When you don't do enough water changes the organics build up and reduce the pH.
Colin recommended 75% daily. If you want to be cautious because shrimp are sensitive do 50%. But the water parameters won't improve until you increase the water changes - volume and frequency. Also follow Colin's advise of regularly cleaning the substrate and filter.

Do a few. If the pH is back to normal and the shrimp stop dying then go to weekly.

What are they fed?

I do a 50-75% water change weekly in mine.

sounds good, it says it has minerals so hopefully has calcium and iodine
