Dwarf rainbow fry!

Hi, we have 6 dwarf rainbow fish (2 males, 4 females)

I get home from work and my girlfriend tells me we'll need baby fish food, cuz she sees baby fish

Well, what do ya know, we've now bought a little net/cage/breeder-thing, and have 20 or so little (miniature really) fry swimming around

The LFS guy was surprised because our tank isnt old (not even 2 monts old) and we'd been fighting ICH, so I didnt think we'd get fry, but we did!

How long will it take for the to be big enough to release into main tank (or trade at LFS)?

I've found rainbow fry quite small and slow growing. They seem to "stick" for a while around 10mm before growing on. I've tried extra feeding and various things but it seems to happen to most of my clutches across various species.

Once they get over that they grow on like others. After a few months they should be big enough to trade.

Never tried to take fish pictures. Not sure if you'd see the fry, they are so small now, really just a black dot with a transparent tail, maybe 6-7mm lenght total.
