Why should I tell you?
Once my fry are a bit bigger and are no longer in danger of being eaten, I want to get a male dwarf gourami to share my 21 gallon tank with my 3 platies. Will he become aggresive and territorial? I really want a gourami, any kind would do, so if I cant have the dwarf, what can I get?

i have 3 dwarf gouramis in a 35 gallon with 1 3 spot ,5 zebra danios, & 4 black widows they keep to themselves just chasing each other occasionally i suggest u get a pair to keep them occupied with each other rather than a single 1 .Mine are always active finding bits of leftover food standing on their heads picking at the gravel etc, great little fish i have no problems with them

The one male would be fine with platies. The males are only territorial towards each other. If you want to get more than one, I'd get a trio (1 male, 2 females) but you may encounter difficulties with finding females. Getting a pair is fine but the male might occasionaly harass the female and, again, you may find it difficult to find females. 2 males is also fine but with only 2, territorial aggression cannot be spread out (don't go for more just because of this though as they need space for establishing a territory).
