dwarf puffers...

Umm... £~# here. Nope, never seen one I want one though. If I drop enough hints and get a 30 for my birthday, I'll order off Trimar and get one off there. (not for the 30! For a 5 gallon tank)

Theyre not illegal to keep here in Australia but rather illegal to import .

Since I have never heard of them before in Australia I assume that they are ones that were smuggled in. $400 IMHO seems a little expensive for a fish that is so cheap oversea's but I guess the reason behind this would be the fact that because they are aggressive like they are (Dwarfs are reasonably aggressive arent they? Im not sure if its them i remember it being said about) but it would likely require them to be bagged seperatly (If thats how they came in in this case ) and as such they take up space which could be used for a species that takes up less and costs more (E.G. Something not so aggressive).

Whee! I found South American puffers here a few days ago!

They were $7 a fish.

I now have three of them @ home

In one of my LFS's they had dwarf puffers at 1.49 each!!

Great deal just dont have the money or space 2 set up a tank properly!!!
