Dwarf Puffers

Yup they're reallly happy in the 30 because they can socialize with the other fish and school around. They really like the space.

I would suggest getting all three DP at the same time. I had a dwarf puffer in with my mollies and platys and she never bothered them. But after I had her for a year, I thought I would get another dawrf puffer. I tried that twice and she killed both of the other puffers.

what if I can't choose or determine what sex I get? I'm not sure if I can choose...

The puffers will probably be too young to determine the sex, but look for neon wrinkles behind the eyes. If those are present it is a male. Males also develope a dark line on the bottom.

Well, I don't think I really can tell because I'll be special ordering them so, I'm not sure if I can special order a certain sex of fish. That's my question, I mean, let's say i get all males. Is that bad? I have TONS of hiding spots in my tank. I'm hoping to get two females and a male. But let's say I do get all males or females. Is that okay?

With lots of caves and plants you shouldn't run into any problems. I have 2 males and a female and they only time they fight is over food.

teroccada pots, at any plant section at like walmart, target, etc...

after juvenille stage males also have a black line across their stomach. Females, do not.

I'm thinking about turning my 10 gallon heavily planted and rocky tank into a dwarf puffer tank. I just want to know if I can keep a number of these guys in the same tank. I know they're fin nippers, but do they bother their own kind. If they can be put together, how many can I put into my 10 gallon?

Im doing the same to a 125ltr tank...
HUGE WASTE! I hear you shout no because there are a small comunity of fish that can be keept with them

I'm waiting for dwarf puffers to be in stock... it sucks waiting. So far I've setted my tank up like so....

I hope all those plants and rocks will do. I'm adding real plants when I get my puffers.

I know how you feel I might have to wait 9 Months for mine.
