Dwarf Puffers

OK, thanks. I'm not sure the frogs wil be able to catch the puffers as they have bad eyesight as it is, but its not impossible. OK, ill go with your idea, but only 2 otos, as i dont want them to starve without enough algea to eat in a small 10 gallon.
Otos are community fish and do best in groups of at least three. They will not starve because they would need to be fed on algae wafers.
NEVER rely on just tank-grown algae to support algae eating catfish.

love fish... i myself have been asking a lot of questions about dps and SirMinion has helped me as well. he cleared up a whole lot of gray areas for me and such. i hope that this helps you...

If you are not prepared to dedicate a whole tank to a couple of fish, choose a different fish.
I'm speaking as a person who dedicated a 60 gallon tank to a single five inch fish.

 i can see this happening so much. My 1.5" spotted greeen puffer just ripped through a 1+" ghost shrimp like it was cotton candy i removed the other shrimp cause that one shrimp was making his belly a bit full LOL

as he said it might be a solo fish when like this. At full size 6" i can see him killing fish much larger than 6" thats for sure

i agree with what most are saying i strated out with 2dw puffer in my 29 they never bothered a soul but when they got to be about 6 month my male just niped and niped at my lady,so i had to take me to the pet store for a new home,i now have 3 dw but i did have to put then in tanks with out other puffers,dw are friendley sweet fish to all but there own kind,no matter what personaly, they have this is a tret in all puff big are small.and females are just as bossy as males, more so i think lol good luck,oh just to let you know dw will kill guppy,s and any fish with brite colores(they are small but deadly)!!!!!!!!!
