I saw a dwarf platy at my LFS. They are so small ! Only the size of fry. Does any one have one? Can't they be eaten by bigger fish?
They probably are fry. As far as i am aware, the "dwarf platys" are either just stunted growth inbreds, or are fry, i don't think there are any true healthy strains of dwarf platys.

You'll need to get at least one other female. The males are very persistent and your female will never get any rest if it's just her.I went to Petsmart today and bought a pair, female & male. When I left the bag in for 15 minutes, the female had about 18 babies. About 3 didn't survive. It was interesting hehe.
