Hello, so my Dwarf Gourmai died today, it looked like it was attack by another fish, we then looked again and we were thinking maybe it's a parasite? J

I saw it and thought on of the fish attacked it

I saw it about a week ago, the fish didn't seem any different until today when it started to slow down alot

It could've been the dreaded Iridovirus that Dwarf Gouramies tend to get. The lesions do look like they could be viral lesions. How long have you had him? Is he the only Dwarf Gourami in the tank?

UPDATE - I was told today by my local pet store that it had Hole-In-The-Head-Disease, does this sound right?

The lesions don't look like the ones you would see in hole-in the-head disease.

The gourami does not have hole in the head disease. Gouramis don't normally get that disease and it shows up as small white dots, almost like pussy pimples that burst and create small pits in the skin.

The fish has a lesion or infection on the side of the face.
