You may also want to consider possible internal parasites. I just this morning had a very skinny corydora who I was trying to treat after finding parasties in my tank. Be sure to look at the walls of your aquarium and plants for any moving organisms. :nod:

I thought my corydora had a bacterial problem at first so i treated with a bacterial medication, however it was not bacterial. So if your bacterial medication seems like it isn't working try an internal parasite medication.

Yep, i also bought methylene blue to treat for internal parasites if the anti-bac doesnt work- thanks for the advice. About to add the anti-bac med tonight and have also bought an air pump to put more air into the tank.

Re my hospital tank - it looks like the ammonia cycle is complete - now just waiting for nitrites to fall before i can complete the cycle.
