Really? So you think I could keep a 20 inch plec in my 20 gallon tank?

I think you will find that most people on this forum are concerned with such matters as the swimming needs of individual species, the territorial needs etc etc.

I do believe that there was a thread on this topic not so long ago. Basically, the "rule" or "guideline" fails, ESPECIALLY for almost all fish over 3 inches long.

ANYWAY, I would suggest the minimum tank size being 10Gs for a Dwarf Gourami. Any takers?

ok so i asked around in a live chat, dwarf gouramis wouldn't work but they told me sparkling gouramis will.
people told me i could do one of those with some shrimp in a 5 gallon, but i'm wondering if i can have two of them possibly, with or without the shrimp.

does that mean i could have ONE sparkling gourami or ONE honey gourami? or can i have more than one?

Pairs or trios (1 male, 2 female)
You could probably keep some amano shrimp or adult cherry shrimp (but dont expect any baby shrimp to survive) Plants would really really help the shrimp and make them feel comfortable too. If there arent alot of decorations i would say no shrimp

Snails and ADFs would be ok, i think (haha feel free to correct me) but yes.
