I have a 45 gallon tank with 1 dwarf flame angel, 1 blue damsel, and 2 occ. clowns.

I purchased my dwarf flame angel from a reputable lfs about 1.5 months ago. This morning when I woke up, the fish was lying on my LR. I lifted the rock and it swam away to a different location. Now, 6 hours later... it continues to do the same thing. Interestingly enough, it did move resting places on its own while I was gone.

Is my fish dying? I have used my test kit and everything comes out fine. Please help!

Sorry to hear this

What is you test reading
Is there any signs of damage on the Dwarf

I will post exact readings later... (I have to get to opera rehearsal...)

There are no signs of "damage", however the bottom half of the fish seems to be very pale. The dwarf changes resting places frequently and is still more than able to swim around. The sluggish motion and the fact that it is remaining still on the LR is the main indicator that there is a problem. This fish was very hardy for quite a while... it's odd that his demeanor would change on a dime like this.

Has anybody else had this happen?

Any advice is appreciated (this would be my first loss) :-(

Is it possible for a D. Flame Angel to develop Ich? I just looked at it again and it does have a withe spot on it (I can't tell if it's a bruise or just a spot)
