I recently passed by my LFS and saw these cute little loaches marked as Chain Loaches. I've done some research but there doesn't seem to be too much info out there on these fish. Does anyone have experience with these fish? I know that loaches tend to nibble on plant such as amazon swords, are these loaches like that? Any advice would be great. Thank you!

im assuming ur talking about Yasuhikotakia sidthimunki

their exceptionally hyperactive little critters. my brother has 5, they drove his apistos mad, the loaches were nipping and pushing them about, that the loaches went to live in with serpae tetras, and they entirely hold their own against them too.

they are fascinating to watch, but will annoy shy, slow moving or long-finned fish.

I have some Polka-Dot loaches (Botia kubotai) and while they occasionally jump at my glowlight tetras, they are very peaceful.
