I'm looking at that one on ebay. Can anyone tell me if it's ok with community fish and my female betta? Do they defo saty quite small. How's it best to feed them? Sinking pellets?

I'd say you'll be fine with a community tank, they will prefer meaty foods such as bloodworm but am sure will take the small sinking pellets in time. If they truly are Akysis vespa, then the max size is what it is, so you won't see it much beyond 1.5".
