About a week ago I finished off my tank with its last addition, a Rusty Dwarf angel. My new friend is spendy all of his time hidding in a hole in my live rock, hugging the rock, I haven't even been able to cox him out to eat. I was wondering if this was a typical behavior for dwarf angels or is it worse for my little friend. Water parameters are perfect, tankmates are 2 Ocellaris Clownfish, 3 green chromis, 1 Fridmani Pseudochromis, 1 scooter blenny, 1 purple firefish...

You might have another fish picking on him. Have you noticed any aggressiveness from any of them?
If that is the case you can try a few things. 1 Move your live rock and decorations around. 2 Take the aggressive
out of the tank, put him in a bowl or bucket with your tank water for about 10 min. then put him back. 3 If he is still being a punk
I would try and trade your LFS for another. If you don't stop this (if this is the case) your Dwarf angel will die of stress and hunger.

Hope that helps

I was worried about my pseudochromis at the begining but my pseudo has been a perfect gentleman... No one has yet to give him problems, I have been watching very closely, I think I will try and trade him if this continues  . Is there any food that he won't be able to resist?

I like to give my fish that dry seaweed, just put it on a clip and stick it on the glass in front of him. My fish LOVE it. A piece 2" by 6" is gone in minutes. I would not give up on him if no other fish is picking on him. He just might be traumatized by the move and new home. Hopefully he will snap out of it soon.

Well he finally ate a little bit but he still spends all his time hiding, I am optimistic though... Just a side note this morning my psedo chromis took his life during the night, I knew they had a tendency to jump thus I have the aquariam covered well so I thought... he jumped out of a little hole :-( , so now I know no one will bother my new little friend. thanks for the advice.with the dried seawead...

Sorry to hear about the suicide  Hope your new guy starts to do better.
How about some pic's of your tank and fish, I would love to see it and I'm sure everyone else would too.

Well he came out for a quick visit and then the furnace kicked on and he scurried back to his hole. He really is shy but I have hope for him, and as for the pictures I will trhouw some up when I get my new camera.... Thanks for all the concern and remember no matter how small the hole a fish can probably find it and jump through...
