Hello everyone!

My son and I started a fish tank months ago and it’s been awesome. But we were at the fish store the other day and my son really wants to add a dwarf African frog to our community tank. From everything I’ve read online our fish and Nerite snails are compatible with a dwarf frog, but I’m getting a lot of mixed reviews on the cherry shrimp. I’m not worried if the frog ate some baby shrimp but does anyone have experience keeping dwarf African frogs with adult cherry shrimp? Did any of you witness the frog eating adult shrimp?

Thank you for any replies in advance!!

Not sure why this thread hasn't had any responses but usually ADF's are too slow to catch shrimp, they are not the quickest and have very poor eyesight, so shrimp should be okay. However they are very social creatures so do best in a group and you would need to be careful with tank mates as they could be picked on or out competed for food. ADF's require target feeding to ensure they get what they need before any fish can grab it
