I want some snails to help clean the algae.
Would the sting rays try to eat them.
I want either zebra or blue snails, not the ones that are in the sand that most people want to get rid of, the algae eaters?
Please help! :S

I ran into a problem and overwhelming algea, and an aggressive fish. I bought a medium size snail and the fish somehow sucked the snail right out of the shell and ate it. I recently bought a snail about the size of a base ball and the fish does not mess with it at all. :)

Unfotrunately rays eat crustacae and molluscs in the wild so your snails will be crunchy ordeaves to your ray. A suitable algae cleaner for your tank if it is hair algae would be prochilodus, but with rays im afraid 99% of the time its get the old algae magnet out and scrub

Yep, my rays love a meal of large pond snails whenever the pond outside gets over run with them.

would they eat MTS snails?

I'm always hooking them out my brackish tank and putting them in my community where i guess my doras are eating them.
