So this may seem like a stupid question, but I have no idea what all this stuff written on my light fixture means. Here is what the label on it says:

Use Max 15W. Type T-10 bulb(s)

I mean, 15 watts does not seem like alot of light for a 33 gallon. I can just tell I am missing something or just reading it wrong.

this is on the actual fixture? it means you can have a maximum of a 15 watt bulb. And the T-10 part is the size of the tube...
T10 is 1.25 inches in diameter.

T8s are more common imo they are the 1 inch. And more an more people are getting T5s (5/8ths of inch).

Hmm, is 15 watts enough for most plants? I thought the best was like 2 watts to the gallon.

Have a look at gf225s pinned topic on lighting at the top of this section, im sure you will find it useful, you will need to add more light to grow a veriety of plants, currently you only have about 1/2 watt per gallon, not really enough.

How do I add more light if my hood can only allow a max of 15watts?

Most hoods dont carry anywhere near enough tubes for planted fraternity :D most people juryrig tubes inside their hoods or make a new hood to fit.

Hmm, well that sucks. So I'm guessing at 1/2 watt per gallon I should stick to very lowlight plants?
