I guess you could say that. I’ve only seen the “broad leaf” variation though. Are there different types of frogbit like broad or small leaf ?

2 20 200 doesnt matter youll have 2 million in a bout a week it will take over your tank then your house then your life. RIP juicebox52So I am in need of some floating plants, and I am also not great on spending money right now. I know duckweed spreads fast and can become a problem but I found a seller on Amazon that has 200 duckweed plants for $ 1.99 and free shipping. Would it be worth it?
I decided against it. Thanks for the advice everyone!2 20 200 doesnt matter youll have 2 million in a bout a week it will take over your tank then your house then your life. RIP juicebox52

LOL - I remove it ( or most of it) at each water change...IN EVERY TANK, EVERY TIME!!!You can just remove the duckweed once it over grows, just like any floating plants @AbbeysDad...
I also recommend Salvinia, not water lettuce.
That’s what I just said, no need for all caps....LOL - I remove it ( or most of it) at each water change...IN EVERY TANK, EVERY TIME!!!
I was merely emphasizing that it's an on-going maintenance chore. That’s what I just said, no need for all caps....
Ok....it seems you have this covered......I was merely emphasizing that it's an on-going maintenance chore.
Look into Riccia. It sounds like a less invasive plant. I have yet to put it to use,and want to put in two glass towers as inverted aquariums in my 55g tank.So I am in need of some floating plants, and I am also not great on spending money right now.
