Drop counter

Hi, I have just set up an fluval flex 57 ltr and have put 'baby tears' as a carpet plant. Trouble is, I cannot afford co2 ATM and using a liquid co2. As I plan to get a gas co2 kit in the future, is it worth putting a drop counter in now while using the co2 liquid? Any suggestions would be helpful.

No reason for the drop counter with CO2 liquid.

For one... the CO2 liquid isn't CO2. Its glutaraldehyde.
For two... the glutaraldehyde never produces CO2 in the water, which means you'd never get a meaningful reading.

Thanks for the advice. Never knew co2 liquid never actually contained co2!
At the moment, there is no fish in this tank due to just being set up, and it will be at least a month before I transfer any from my other tank, but hopefully by then I can afford a decent co2 system.
