Droopy plants :(

Seems everyone is giving decent advice, don’t need to add much.

When it comes to plants in aquariums, what works for some folks may not work for others.

So do be prepared to accept some plants won’t work in your tank, could be down to a number of factors, type of light you’re using, hours lights are on for and even hard or soft water can make a difference.

Very hard to tell sometimes what works, the biggest thing is patience and watch your plants, they will tell you if something is out of balance, the hard part is figuring out what is out of balance.

As always with plants, one step at a time, don’t change everything at once, if you reduce light time for example from 9 hours to 8 hours leave the tank well alone for at least one week but preferably two weeks to see if plants react to this.

Nothing happens overnight when comes to planting unfortunately. Patience ;)

Ok thanks . Would you advise root tabs aswell with these plants ? I don't want to be adding more nutrients if I already have to much ?

Root tabs should be fine as long as you make sure the tabs are fully immersed under the substrate fairly near roots of the plants.

This way the root tabs won’t leach anything into the water column.

Do be sure to read the instruction on packet so not to put in too many tabs too often.

I tend to use Seachem Flourish root tabs, a little pricier than others but has good nutrients and won’t leach anything into the water column.
