aimed at drobbyb 'cause of his interest in M. lacustris, but i hope you all enjoy the update!

This is Bishop II. Got him on 8/6/08. This is his first pic:

This is today's pic. My camera sucks at this, but you get the idea:

he's gotten a rich emerald green on his upper half, soft yellow on his bottom half and a dark, almost-neon blue strip on the top of his body (barely visible but it's in the pic!)

Wow. Nice looking fish! It just goes to show you what time and care will do for those dull rainbows at the LFS.

I got a UV sterilizer the ther day for my lacustris tank. I have to tell ya, the water sure is clear! I thought it was clear before.

I did my waterchange last week and I sat back and watched them for a while. Those guys and gals spawned 5 times in under 2 hours (once with 2 couples at the same time!)

Beautiful, and well cared for! My Rainbows and Congo Tetras have turned into different fish than what I bought! It makes you feel good to have fish show who they are supposed to be!!!
