Ok - So say if "someone" happend to buy a "frag", would that "person" need to drip acclimatize the frag for the tank?
Or just let it get to temp and put it in?

I treat all my corals the same as fish and bring them upto temp and drip acclimatise for 90 minutes. Its easier than trying to work out how long each diffrent coral invert fish needs ;)

Ok.
Is there a certain amount of time a frag can stay sealed in a bag?
Could I have it getting to temp in the top of the tank for a couple of hours, until my dad gets home.

If you buy frags from fleabay etc they are shipped overnight in a bag so a few hours at proper tank tempature should be more than fine imo.

Zoas or clove polyps are softies, just float them for a bit and drop them in.

Only ones you do different is SPS as they form a mucas layer and acclimatise themselves at their own rate. Softies and LPs hold quite a lot of water.

Test the sg of the water, if it is more or less the same as your tank, just put them in :good: we are trying to avoid osmotic shock (a varience in sg) when we acclimatise - but if the sg is the same as your tank, then just put them in :good:
