Driftowood Bugs Found Before Placed In Betta Tank!

So, I went to the fish store today and purchased a small piece of Malaysian driftwood. I placed it in boiling water, only to discover white bugs!!!They had a long body, about half and inch, with multiple arms. SO far I discovered two. Any ideas???Luckily I have not placed this piece of driftwood in my tank.

If you boil that wood you need not worry much about critters. Once they have been cooked they are not much threat.
