Dream Fish / Dream Tank

I mean I like Lion Fish, I just didn’t know their background..... :(

I would love my whole house walls and floor to be fish tank but I don't think i could do that in 1,000,000,000 years of saving up so I would probably do a 500 gallon salt water with puffers and star fish.

or you could just go all in

WHAT IN THE WOLRD!!! That is awesome! Is that a hotel room? :)

That so cool! :p

I would love to have an in-wall Tank, possibility a saltwater reef, but it’s so expensive!

For Moony42, the following pics are of a Saratoga and an Arowana. The fins are different between the 2 types of fish, but they are both related and have a common ancestor that was around a few hundred million years ago. :)

its a painting or wall mural. you can buy them online
Actually that one is a hotel room (in Singapore) with a wall along a real aquarium. So those fish and rays are real.

IIRC a room will set you back a mere US$1700 a night - errr or was that 17000 :dunno:

Isn’t that my picture? ;)
Yep :)

It doesn't look real. There appears to be wavy lines above the Manta Ray and I don't know of any aquariums that keep Manta Rays due to their size and special food requirements. I could be wrong, but I reckon it's a picture.

Not been there myself so can't comment :). Seen similar in one of the Atlantis resorts though. Found this on youtube - so if its a hoax its a pretty elaborate one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GOx73ufS2Y

The one on YouTube looks legit. It's kinda big and I wouldn't want to do the water changes or gravel cleaning, but it looks good :)

The Atlantis one I saw in the Bahamas was built on the edge of a marina and directly connected to it. I suspect there were no water changes as such but they probably had massive pumps running 24/7 to pump sea water in and out. It did look impressively clean and the fish looked healthy.

I know of 2 that are built over actual reefs, one off the coast of Tanzania and one in the Maldives. The Maldives one costs $50k per night with a minimum stay of 4 nights - so I guess not something I, or any normal person will ever experience.
