i was going to originally going to make my new 60 gallon tank a community tank, but ive always wanted a piranha so can someone reccomend me one. I was thing a black diamond gold piranha, or possibly wimble piranhas. Also, Ive done alot of looking up on the internet with little success, does any one have a good link on piranha species?

By the way, Black Diamonds and gold piranhas are different things, not one word. I don't much about Piranhas, but a black diamond might be fine by itself. You realise they can't live with anything, an-y-t-h-i-n-g or they will just eat it. They're pricey too. Over here it's 100 dollars for a black Diamond. Don't know much about Gold or wimbles, sry, but i think you'd be fine with the one, since they need to live by themselves anyways, unless you are referring to wimbles as the red bellied ones with the black spot on their gills, and in that case they need to be in groups as well.

ooooopsss. i meant black diamonds or golds. i understand N-O-T-H-I-N-G is suitable as tank mates and have no intentions of putting anything in with it. yeah black d's are expensive but worth the price to me

From my knowledge of Piranhas the information in that link is quite incorrect.

Get a black rhom....yay Though ull need much bigger tank in few years time. lol
