Dont Clean Your Spray Bar In Boiling Water....

Well, was just giving my tank a good old clean yestarday, was cleaning algae of bits and bobs in a bowl of boiling water, the phone rang when i was doing the spray bar, so i left the spray bar in the water and when i came back from being in the phone, each half of the spray bar had bent into a banana shape!

So i now have a nice bent spray bar, it still works, just looks a little funky!

I have a spatula that I did this to. It's fun to get bacon off the pan without brushing my knuckles on it.

it had been used for a marine tank (and mine was FW) so i needed to make sure it was clean....

You could hold the banana spray bar over a low light if you have a gas oven, then just wait until it's pliable and bend it back into shape. As soon as it's the right shape, drop it into a bowl of cold water.
