My name is Liam Hincks and I am the owner of splashandcarry.co.uk It disappoints me to read about companies who sell fish online with out proper care for the animal. I would ask you though not to be disheartend and not to stop buying fish online. There are many retailers out there who do not care for their fish and only about the profits. But their are others who take the time to ensure all their fish are high quality and arrive safe and well. (Heres the bit where i plug my site ) Splashandcarry.co.uk check all their fish before sending them out and only use reputable licenced and defra approved carriers to handle the fish. As you can see from my post I like to keep buying fish from my site a personal experience whether it is me or a member of my staff you deal with. All our staff are trained and have been aquarist for many years.
