As the sub-topic states I'm curious to know what people on this board have found are the best live foods to feed them. I would like to set-up one or two live food cultures to supplement their diet and any experience you can share would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

I have learned they will eat just about anything. I have had mine for almost 2 years now and I have never fed them live foods. They eat flake, sinking wafers, and frozen blood worms, stuff like that.

You're right, mine isn't a fussy eater either and will take most anything I offer but I wanted to try live foods for two reasons. Firstly, I have never cultured them myself and want to try it for the learning experience. Secondly, it's always nice for the fish to have the occasional live food available as it provides stimulation and supplements the diet with fresh, unprocessed food sources.

Thanks for the reply Barracuda, I'll try some of the worm varieties of live foods.
