DOHC & VTEC was hungry, so i decided to snap a few pics of them and fed them as a reward for posing in front of the camera :good:

He was aggressive towards the camera! he scares me sometimes

Lovely pics! I wish I had a decent camera so I could get some shots of Henry. Not like he ever sits still enough for me to photograph!

she could be. i don't have enough experience with plakats to be able to distinguish between female plakats and female vts

Nice fish. I really like the colors on the male.

I'd assume you have a thing for Hondas?

VTEC seems to be a cambodian veiltail as you can see from her caudal rays. They only divide once.

i figured that she was a plaket?
having rays divide only once does not necessarily mean a veiltail rather than a PK, but the ends of her tail curve in towards each other, which is a sign of a veiltail. Also PK females have shorter straighter anal fins than all other tail types and VTEC seems to have a fairly deep anal fin in comparison. so all in all i would have to agree with veiltail for her.

information for this came from here

What's wrong with DOHC's top fin...one of them looks like its been snapped to one side?

hahaha! that's what i thought, but if you have a close look, it's not snapped . . .

it grew out that way naturally somehow, i found it pretty kool

thank you :good:

haha! yes, i do! i didn't want to think too hard for names, so this was the easy way out

What does she sound like when the vtec kicks in :hyper:

when she hits vtec, she makes popping noises! hahaha!

VTEC??

Its a form of valve and cam timing electronically honda's have it in their engines and it makes a crazy loud noise when you hit it at around 5200rpm kind of like a race profiled cam only its standard on most hondas and produces massive power for the engines size's

Nice bettas.
I like your choice in names.

I have a female just like your except she's alot smaller, shes still a baby.
I find the Red on white nice for females.
When I saw her I had to get her.
I usually always see the dark colors.

Great CT as well.
