Does Your Lfs Buy Your Fish From You?

yeah ours will exchange them for credit, get probably about a third of the retail price. Not a lot but not too bad. We don't breed or anything like that, just if we've switched things around or someone's fighting then we might take them back and get a few quid off what we want next. Our mate at the lfs gives us loads for free anyway, if we're buying a few things we'll normally get a couple of plants or something thrown in for free.

For my baby piranhas, the lfs will give me either half price of what they charge or store credit.

at work we don't give any money back, makes it so much simpler without customers trying to wheel and deal with you.

If a customer has brought something special back and buys something the same day we might give them something off at our own discretion.

With my lfs, they don't advertise it that they buy or anything. Not too many people know you can sell them fish, so its not to bad of a deal.
