and it looks like a common pleco... again hard to tell from the pics but that’s what I see... so be prepared unless you have a HUGE tank in the next few years ready to dedicate to it and it alone... maybe try and return him for a brittle nose pleco which are much smaller.... that guy (if in fact is a common) can grow to like 2 ft long lol he will need a tank with a HUGE foot print and you will not be able to keep anything else with him.... they do grow slowly so it’s up to you what to do... but just be aware that he will get HUGE and then what do you do.... easier to solve the problem now then before it’s too late
