ok so my Molly fish has been acting odd on and off for 1-3 days now. Yesterday i introduced 2 dwarf frogs into my 5 gallon tank. My tank has been free of ammonia and nitrite for close to a week. I had planned on them going into my newer tank for awhile but since it was being worked on figured i toss itno the tank with my Molly for a bit. My gf likes them in her tank so we plan to keep in there.

Now for the part that concerns me. Just now i realized the top fin (cant think of name looked like it had disappeard for a second but upon close inspection it just is flattoned down. Im not sure if this is normal but she also seems to be moving very slowly at the moment. she sometimes picks up some speed but its kinda on and off. Im thinking she may even be pregnant but im not 100% sure. I just recently feed them some forzen blood worms too.

Ammonia 0 (maybe .10 but its below .25 for sure)
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 5
PH: 7-7.6

The frogs are fine and active. And as of this moment in typing she is laying on the bottom of the tank still breathing though. Pics are below

Have you checked your ammonia and nitrites since adding the frogs. She looks to be stressed.

i checked it, I have check twice today. Both have been under .25 (less then .10 even). I even did a water change this morning (30%) and everything showed the same as it does now. So I dont know. Is she pregnant?

Doesn't look pregnant (though she may be, but not far along, since they do spend much of their life perpetually pregnant). Looks a bit pinched, at that, and the fins are clamped. She does look stressed, but maybe not unhealthy (for now - stress leads to weaker immune system and risk of illness). From your water stats, the tank isn't fully cycled yet (or is in a minicycle), the ammonia levels would be the first likely culprit. Keep up the water changes and keep an eye on those levels, make sure there's no trace of green in the ammonia tube and hopefully she'll recover with time.

just did another water change (40%). I plan to do water changed 2 times a day for awhile now. I hope for the best.

Her dorsal fin may be down due to stress or pregnancy..i have kept platies and mollies for a fair while and through my experiences it comes down to filtration and aeration plus feeding a varied diet of food. so i recommend you try feeding her a more varied diet, add a aerator and make sure your filter is clean.

I haven't seen them clamp their tail fins during pregnancy, though - it's a bit easier to see this in mollies that have a nice deep lyretail like this one, the tips cross.
