Hi, I don't see them poo that often. I often thought livebearers were constant poopers? Or are just juvis not such poop machines?

They've had tons of frozen daphnia yesterday, some Hikari's First Bites today along with algae wafers (for hungry shrimps but yeah).

One little female's poo was white stringy, but didn't seem to be paper white. I think it was just cause she doesn't seem to be such a voracious food monster like other guplets are.

Another juvi near adol female, she's had her big belly for a bit now. Males are crazy about her, chasing and doing their thing with her. So I guess this one's pregnant? At this age?

I just want to confirm whether I'm just sane or paranoid?

That depends on if your guppies mind you watching them while they use the bathroom :)

Most people don't see their fish poop but sometimes they do. Stringy white poop on livebearers usually means intestinal worms. Section 3 of the following link has information about treating fish with intestinal worms.

Well, I've been told it's also could be due to not eating much. Guess I'll have to keep my eye on them.

That's just normal behavior of those males. Chasing females...

LOL! 😄

I like watching any fish jinx one out . The color and size / density can give you an idea of your fishes health .
They're all bright, active etc. But even in my past, ehh they still were active either way 😁

Thing is, the female does have a big belly and males are even more crazy about her. I find it shocking they get pregnant when nearly adol lol.

That's also normal to chase the biggest female (whether that's because she's pregnant, wel fedd or just big) more than others.
Technically, female guppies can become pregnant already at an early age.

Male guppies seem to be simple creatures lol.

She might be pregnant, she did not have this belly and developed it slowly over time. Well, time will show :D

Personally i find my guppy poo'ing in public disgusting and i put up a piece of card-board so they can poo in private. I mean really what has society become when public pooing is allowed.

The ancient Romans were more enlightened . They had a god of poo . Sterculius .
If we were to go the route of Romans and by extension Greeks we could talk about social issues they resolved that we are now unable to handle. If only they had known to build their pipes out of ceramics instead of lead.... who knows how things would have turned out.

Okay okayyy... I admit, the title does my question no justice.. I didn't word it well :p
Ah but now that you've come to that conclusion you ahve a chance to change history and correct it via the EDIT button !

Unless you're watching your tank 24/7 you might not see them poo often. Like some other animals, males think with their gonopodium or other male parts, lol. Whitish poo can be a sign of worms or eating less often. Just keep an eye out for it recurring.

Your female seems to have a small dark "gravid spot" between her pelvic & anal fish. That will get larger as the fry grows. Males don't care if she's already been fertilized & she may be able to "hold" sperm" for the next round. Some livebearers do that, I don't recall if it's guppies too. Big females can be irresistible!

I'm thinking of more crass answers like your mostly male responders have (snicker) but Miss Manners would frown on those.
