Didnt know where else to ask this question....

Theres a website that sells living picture aquariums:

Are these cruel? Although the length of the tank can be quite long, they are only 15 cm wide.

Surely that isnt enough space for even small fish to be happy.

I ask this because my sister is looking to buy one for her new flat.

Hey,

I have real experience of them, but they've always seemed pretty cruel to me. I vaguely remember reading somewhere (probably here) the account of someone who had had one and his fish hadn't been happy in it.

I'd recommend that she should buy a tank (which you can then set up for her!) which is surely more enjoyable to look at anyway.
