it could be Apistogramma hongsloi, vejita or macmasteri.
Or a new variety or a colour variety of something else.

Your best bet would be to find one of these guys online. Their colors are alot better then your LPS

Well, looks like some sort of chiclid, or if it was marine i wd have said a wrasse - they come in loads of different disgises.
Will try to look it up for you.

Definately not a firemouth, as other people have said its an Apistogramma probably in the Macmasteri group.

Trouble with Apisto's these days is that there are so many available to the hobby now, and new ones are being found all the time. Coupled with numerous colour morphs with varying colour shades of one species it is sometimes nearly impossible to tell what you have. There used to be an expert on here and for the life of me I cant think of his name off hand, but he has a web site

Email him first, then tell him you will send another email with the photo attached and ask him to identify it for you.
It's definately an Apistogramma though.
