I originally posted in the Oddballs section because I have two puffers in the tank....but it won't let me upload pictures there.

What do you think they could be? I hope it's not something gross. lol

Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

Edit: They appear to be in some clear sac.

I'm willing to bet they're snail eggs, if that is your puffer tank. All that inhabits it is puffers and snails right? :p If you don't have any snails in the tank... :dunno:

Thanks for the reply. :D

Yeah I figured they might be snail eggs...but I have never seen them before so I thought I would ask. lol

The only thing is that the snails never last more than a few seconds with my guys.

Oh and I just looked at the sack today..some of the white balls are a little purple/blue in colour.

Well I guess I will find out sooner or later.

free food for the puffer .. im betting he likes his eggs scrambled

Well at least I know for sure now. :p

It's probably for the best...although I wouldn't mind some little guys I'm not experienced enough.

Well I'm sure my Puffs won't mind one bit. ;)

Snails eggs, the scum of the earth!

I had a snail in my betta tank and it laid THOUSANDS of eggs on this one plant over night so now it is recieving punishment in a 1G jar with lots of freshwater shrimpies i caught yesterday.

Definately snails eggs

He he maybe those of us with a snail problem should pick them out and send them in the post to those that have puffers.

I personally handpicked out 20 or so snails at the weekend and still have more in my tank.

lol just get clown loaches to clean out your snails. he'll love em

unfortunately - I have no room, and also I think he wouls outgrow my wee little tank.
