Does Anyone Know There Betta Personalities

yeah i know mine.

stripe my VT is lazy he sits under the plants but will show off when someone walks into the room

parma stays behind the filter but when hes out and about he flares up no end to stripe hahaha but he has blown a hooge bubble nest

all my adults are different in every way, most are placid, 1 is a total softy and fathers all my delta, SD and combtail fry
1 female is an utter rat and needs to be kept seperate from the others and refuses to spawn
1 male is a great nest builder but evil towards females
some just dont seem to have any personality at all.

my fry are just starting to develope some good characters and seem very placid ATM

i forgot aboutmy girlies

panther is mummy she tells the other girls off in a fish like way and she starts stalking sick fish and get the other three girls to corner a sick fish so she can attack she responds to people really well she swims up to front of the tank to show off

triffle is the lushest female you can come across she will at times protect a sick fish and take it food which i think is strange

titch is the baby and she hides lots and violet is justplain dozey and follows panther everywhere :good:

Jai absolutely loves an enclosed but open space so he swim like a loon ALL day. The only time he rests is when the lights go out and I go to bed (I only know this because I had to come down one evening after going up and he emerged from his resting place behind the filter lol). So he's quite mental, full of fun and begs for food.

Rufus is a hider but nosey so he comes out for food and I have to actually tap on the glass to let him know I've arrived  to which he comes out straight away and right up to the glass for food and kisses.

Kai is odd. He builds bubble nests by putting random single bubbles in random places all over the surface. He takes forever to catch then eat his food. However, he's becoming more and more confident and instead of hiding a lot, he sits at the front of the bowl and watches me a lot.

Vega is a fussy eater. But very confident. Flares a lot at the other fish but totally placid with me and keeps watch at the front of the tank.

Ratana is the baby of the family. She is very small and nervous but incredibly fast. Loves her food and really looks up to the other girls.

The other girls are pretty similar though a couple of them seem more feisty they do huddle together and allow for each other which is cute.

Out of my main boys Wiggy is the cutest and the one who most loves any attention given he builds huge nests until they nearly fill the half a cup to the top. He wiggles his bum whenever you look in on him and almost seems to kiss the glass.

Burt is a little shy but acts like the big man whenever lipstick is near

Doug is a nutter he swims around alot and chases up and down the glass when you go into the room he is also a ladys man and goes wild at the slightest glance and he's a great daddy.

Um girls well blue is the top chick she tells every one including my silver sharks that she's the boss she loves people and loves to have a belly rub

Parsley is my little silver female, she is very quiet but into every thing a bit like a 3 year old she came right up to the front of the tank today though and put on a little show for me

Spark i'm sure is having a love affair with my blue plattie as they flirt all the time

Ooooh and angel  i wub my little angel she is too cute for words she likes to watch me all the time and follows me as much as she can and gets all excited when i feed her

the rest are pretty much similar and if i continued i would be here all night and i want food lol

Blaze, has such a firery personality, which helped me name him :good:
Royal, is just so laid back, glides gracefully around his tank and i am his slave so he is treated like royalty
Rose, is the most laid back of my girls, such a nice beautiful character, so friendly
Ruby is the wanna be boss of the group, she is the biggest and like a lil gem lol
Scarlette is the smallest but most aggressive of the 3, she likes to keep everyone in check dispite being the smallest

Tariq (Sher Dil) is quite laid back, and enjoys cruising and wriggling around his bowl, and every time I walk into the room, he races to the front of the tank to say hi, then when I look into the tank, he gets nervous and wriggles his little body to the back. Quite a show off to my girl  He is a Male VT

Poseidon is Flirty, and will blow random bubbles all over the tank, and make mini bubble nest like 2 thumbnails wide everywhere, with one Main HUGE bubble nest. he alsways likes his rest, and hangs out near and around the plants. he is a CT male

Zara is my VT female who loves to roam around her tank, and then quickly bolts into the plants when she feels threatened. Though she likes me, as I am a food source  Whenever she sees a male, she hurriedly turs away pretending she doesn't care, but almost immediately, she shows her bars, and always keeps an eye on them :shifty: sneeky.

Rhubard my first boy darts around all day and is always on the go. When shown a girly he is like a little giggly teen and does a little flare and seems to skip around the tank and I can imagine in his head him saying ohhhh its a girl .. ohhh its a girl ... oh its a girl giggle giggle.

Custard is a smooth 2nd boy is a smooth operator, his flare is smooth as are his actions in the tank and when he see's a girl. Coming out of his shell more and being more socialable.

Cream 3rd boy is a man phoar!! has a real manly flare and you can almost hear him swagger round his bowl.

Peaches is newest girl and I think she is trouble, she seems to nip the other ladies.

Baby is just that, the sweetest girl who always comes to the tank front and when I put fingers in rubs herself over the.

The other girls are namless.

I have a purple betta named Stel. He's very amusing! When you touch ( not tap!) the tank, he comes over to your finger. I use a turkey baster to suck up the gunk in between water changes and he loves the thing when you squeeze it and it creates bubbles. He floats under them and then books it when it starts to suck up water/Stel. I stick my finger in there occasionally to check that the water temp is okay and he flares up and starts circling my finger. *cue Jaws music* He also comes up to the surface when he sees your hands above the water. I can hear clicking noises when he eats his pellets. =P

Suay is a big show off (as you can see by the pic's I have posted of him http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=214530)

he is a very active Betta and loves doing laps of his tank, he is a fussy eater (I think he is a little spoilt  )

he is very inquisitive boy and loves to be apart of everything that is going on around him if I am doing water changes he comes up to the vac and swims around and around it..... he always

swims up to me when I am near the tank (he loves his mummy) and loves to show of his gorgeous tail.

If I have to sum him up in just a couple of words they would be:

Smart
Lively
Sweet

Flik (halfmoon) is my happy-go-lucky guy. He's always happy to see me and will do the little dance at the front of his tank (may be a happy to see me dance, or most likely it's a 'feed me!' dance). He's currently sharing his tank with three endler's livebearers and seems quite content. And he knows that I put food in the top ring of a cup that floats on the surface, so he waits underneath it for me to feed him.

Cullen (crowntail) is my saucy boy. He shoots out from behind his plant and will flare at you all the time. He's more demanding about getting fed, but still very cute in his own way. I wouldn't dare put him with any other fish because he'd just chase and harass them to no end. (He's the saucy one in my avatar.)

Fawn and Fable, the two girlies are generally very friendly and sweet. They're in the 33 gallon with the other fish, and are doing very well for themselves. They don't harass anyone but each other sometimes, and that's pretty rare.

And I currently am housing 3 male double tails... The one in my 20 gallon with guppies, platies and honey gourami's is doing quite well. Not picking on anyone. And tonight he learned a new trick. I feed the tank daphnia with a syringe, and he learned that if he 'bit' the tip of the syringe I'd give him food. It was very cute to watch him swim up to it, bite it, and then wait for the food. (And no, it wasn't a fluke, because he did it like five times in a row. He's a genius! Lol)
