does any one know of any easy pets to look after
which are not furry
can live in a 15 g uk tank
which are not snails or stick insects

any ideas

well i have a leopard gecko they are relativly easy to look after.
and he is in a 20gl

i used to have 2 fire bellied toads in a 5gal they are great to watch.

are you keen on snakes because i have a KING SNAKE in a 15gal n all i have to do is buy the food and give him new bedding ect.

i dont no any other suggestions.

King snakes will need at the minimum a 20g when fully grown and actually setting up for a snake or lizard is quite expensive.

I would personally go for a corn snake over a king but they too require a 20g.

Possibly a tree frog but not poison dart frog like was suggested in another post they need an expert and a lot of dedication.

Aren't you asking the same questions over and over again?

not alouded snakes

frogs or lizards are a maybe
any incerts

so your getting rid of your millepeade?? there arent many animals that go in tanks really, kittens are cute and easy to look after, but they dont live in tanks and there furry :/

no im keeping him :)
i can not have anything furry coz of my dogs

i think you should probably stick with your millepeade for a bit. You'v only had him/her for a couple of days havent you?? and your already thinking of another pet :/ well in a way its a good thing but in away its not because it sounds as if you bored with your millepeade already -_-

But if you really want another pet try going down to your local pet store there bound to have something

I think you should wait a while, because you really don't seem to know a lot about millipedes even though you went ahead and bought one. You've also made a post saying that you're worried about the health of your millipede and already you're thinking about getting something else! I would just see how you get on with the millipede first and then decide if you want something else.
I'm not trying to sound mean or anything, I'm just stating my opinion and saying what I see. If you can't look after a millipede (which is about the simplest thing a person CAN look after) I don't think you should be thinking about reptiles or amphibians as they require much more specialist care and need a lot of research before decisions are made. Asking a couple of vague questions on a forum that isn't even about reptiles or amphibians and having a quick look on Google isn't the sort of research I'm talking about. Buy some books, ask questions on species-specific forums and find as many caresheets as you can by Googling. Also the tank should always be setup at least a week in advance of getting the animal to make sure that all the equipment is functioning correctly. Also please bear in mind that most reptiles will live in excess of 15 years (with there being records of leopard geckos having lived 30 years or more).
That said, a leopard gecko is about the easiest reptile to begin with and I do recommend them because they are hardy, interesting, pretty and have lots of character ^_^. In the next few weeks, just see how you get on with the millipede and keep doing lots of research on any other animals you are interested in. You really can never research too much! A website with really excellent caresheets about leopard geckos is this one: http://www.thegeckospot.net
I also highly recommend The Leopard Gecko Manual by Phillipe de Vosjoli, Roger J. Klingenberg, Ron Tremper and Brian Viets. It's really cheap at around £5 from Amazon. Good luck!

What about corn snakes you don't get much easier than that. Both leos and corns are about the same although with corns you don't have to buy special lighting or mess about with live food. I personally think you are rushing into things and that buying a millipead only a few days after you decided you wanted one was not sensible. Pets( no matter what type) need to be properly researched before you buy them.

Leopard geckos don't require UV lighting either. They only need a heat mat on a thermostat, but I agree that corn snakes are pretty easy to keep.
