Neither, they are adult cories. Inchworm is addicted to cories :D
Oh, well not all are adult - I see a few tiny young ones in there too!

Just got me one today! I found a really good, and small lfs today. They are awesome, they don't keep the bettas in tiny cups but rather have a shelf of tiny glass tanks. Much more humane...

with thr "right" care bettas can be very great pets. if you get a mellow one like i did (my Loki) you can put them in another tank as well. the doom and gloom is just common problems associated with people not knowing exactly what they are doing. i myself have had questions when i first got bettas but now i know and they all are great!

the only problem is that when you get one... everytime you go into the store you WILL buy another one (in most cases)

:D

i am thinking about getting one though! I do not know yet though!

Thanks!

I have 10 bettas

An assortment of CTs, VTs, and PKs. Always on the look out for a nice Double tail, though, sigh.

Has anyone ever seen a wild caught betta? Do they have the long fins, and bright colors? I've always thought the ones in the store were breed that way. I've heard that there is a wild variety of angelfish that is different than the typical ones in the store. Are bettas the same?

Edit, After posting, I realized this may be a good question for the betta forum!

I have bettas coming out my ears :S
9 males and 3 females, with another male and female on the way, and 57 or so juvies. I also have a pair of Betta albimarginata and some fry from them

EDIT: whip -- There are many, many different species of wild betta... Wild Betta splendens, which are the species we're all used to, are short-finned and less colourful in the wild, but I wouldn't call them drab either, they're still a colourful fish. Check out http://www.ibc-smp.org/species/ for pics and descriptions of some wild species :D
