do you have a betta, yes/no

I have 5 males, 2 female.

I'm going to an un-advertised 25% off sale at a LFS in a few hours.
Mainly for plants, but I'd say there's a good chance of me glancing at the mountain of betta bowls filled with Crowntails.

I used to have 1 but he started killing everything in my tank so I gave him to someone my mom knew collects bettas.

I used to have bettas, but no longer do after my last one passed on to the great fish tank in the sky...

At some point I may get another one as once I can add fish to my 75 gallon, I am going to move all but the neons from my little 5 gallon. The two serpaes and the pleco (all still very small) are waiting patiently for their new accomodations! I could make the 5 gallon a betta tank, though my plan had been to keep that running as a hospital/quarantine tank. We'll see!

Dwarfs that's an awesome Betta female! I only have one due to no more tanks available. I have to admit I get picky about colour, not just any old Betta will do.....I know, Betta snob Betta snob....not really, just.....chooosy.

Bettas seem to have distinct and different personalities...some are anti-social, some belligerent...and mine is a right show off. If I'm in the room he's gotta do his whole little "ain't I the most" dance. If he's hungry he really goes into overdrive, beats Michael Jackson flat anyday! Plus he's way cuter. I think they're beautiful fish but not for everyone. If I see another cutie like my Jack, for sure I'll buy him. I wouldn't mind having some females in a community tank sometime.

i've got 4 males and 2 females....dragon, scraggle, silk, and sunset are the men, maggie and chamile are the ladies.

i want more!!! i MUST get more!!! i don't find them boring at all! they have such huge personalitys to them, it's crazy! unlike OTHER fish who just swim and come to the top when you feed them....theres alot more than just that to betta's. thats the whole reason i love them soo much is cuz they're anything BUT boring!

I have three males and a female.Every time I go out I want more.Just wish there were more variety in my area.I've never seen anything but veils here.Luckily I think they are elegant and beautiful.But I dream of a crowntail....
