The difference is.. your not doing it to wash your car, your doing it to keep things alive.. whats worse, dead fish or a few gallons.

No, We arnt using RO to wash our cars. But re-cycling is just a simple thing. Why not poor it on your garden?

I dont know about everyone else, and where you live, but the fact our freshwater is discharged out into the ocean, which most reefers want to preserve, should be reason enough to find an alternate use for your fine RO waste water elsewhere. FW discharge from land is a major problem for aquatic life and sea grass meadows. Reducing run-off and FW discharage is very important for the future preservation of our oceans. *Steps-off Soap Box*

Steady on there :eek: .. im not disputing that.. i was referring to the fact that the waste was not comparable to someone hosing down their car or using a sprinkler.. I am not saying that the remaining water could not be used for something else.. :thumbs: Im sure we can agree on that mr miagi (hoping he wont do the crane technique on me)
