Gotta love Napoleon Dynamite! Personally I love deep-fried bettas and grilled angelfish.

Just kidding. I do eat fish but nothing I keep as a pet though. I love tuna, prawns, scallops, sushi... yum! Except I won't eat fish that I've seen alive, like the ones in the restaurant tanks or ones I saw getting caught. Makes me sad. One of my LFSs has a Giant Gourami, it's name's George. So I guess they're off the menu for me too!

I have no problem with the sad eyes of my guppies staring at me as I tuck into my baked fish. After all, I've checked the contents list on their tropical flakes- and they're no more vegetarian than I am. I have given up eating cod though, as they're a threatened species.

Almost all the larger fish that are kept in aquariums are food fish in their native lands, they view their native fish just like we do trout and salmon.

I'll never forget seeing a photgraph taken at a South American market with 5 or 6 two foot plus dead Meredontotus tigrinus on a fish stall being sold for the equivalent of a few pennies/cents. In Europe and the US these fish would have sold for hundreds if not thousands of pounds/euros/dollars as aquarium fish.
Thats what you call having expensive tastes in food!!

I like fish
and some places I travel I am sure I have eaten fish that many would prise in an aquarium.
Esppeically the marine fish.

It would take me a long time to list everything, esspecially once you start getting to what they cook up for ya in south america, even maui serves up fish that alot would love in their tank.

Dany your right about sushi actually being the type of rice! It does my head in when people say urgh sushi thats raw fish but in fact there arent many types of sushi that actually contain raw fish!

I personally love sushi even though didnt enjoy a grilled eel one that was gross! I also LOVE smoked salmon its great on a slice of toast with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice! I also love grilled tuna steak that is nice!

Just a little info. Alot of people think that "sushi" is raw fish, however, they are wrong, sushi includes the likes of pickled veg server with rice and dried seaweeds, or noodle dishes etc etc

Sushimi is the raw fish!

And yes, i eat all of the above!
