Do You Eat Fish?

I only eat white fish (pickeral, sole, haddock) and salmon. I'm not a huge fish fan, but it's so healthy, that I have to (high cholesteral runs in the family). I still go fishing, but I've never been able to kill the fish. My dad has to do that for me.

I absolutely love eating fish and other types of seafood and really miss living in a port city. Champaign, just doesn't offer the quality seafood that I'm used to getting in Miami, FL. Funny, when I come home for the holidays, it isn't just about eating holiday foods, it's about overdosing in all the fresh seafood I can digest in a limited time. Especially the grouper, snapper, and shrimp, though I enjoy scallops as well. Hmmmm food.

Nope, doesn't bother me to eat fish and then see my little children swimming in their tanks, not one bit. I've seen enough of my tropicals munch on fry with delight to know I have no need to suffer. They clearly have no dilemma, why should I? I wouldn't eat mine, though, way too small! Yucky.

I love fish, nothing better than going out for a camping trip and actually living off of the land for a week or so. Small and largemouth bass, rainbow and brook trout and some panfish...mmm...yummy. Not to mention salmon, haddock, swordfish....etc.

I don't really care for the taste of fish. I can eat tuna casserole sort of stuff (not salad I don't like mayo). For the most part the smell and taste overwhelms me.

I used to get canned salmon for free. Just opening it to feed it to the dogs about made me  I had to ignore the dogs for hours after because of the bad breath.

Dead fish doesn't smell as bad as dead snail though...

Well, im from Peterhead, Peterhead was Europe's largest white fish port, landing nearly 120000 tonnes of white fish at Europe's biggest fish market :D

So i eat my fair share...

Btw friday today so fish supper it is ;)

Nope. The majority of commercial fish catching and farming is absolutely horrible for the environment (same reason I keep only domestic-type bettas and goldfish; I can pretty well assure they are captive bred). Almost all of our marine fish stocks are depleted, and most fish farms end up being resevoirs for fish diseases since there is a high number of fish concentrated to an unnatural degree in a confined area.

If you want to learn about what fish are best to eat in regards to protecting wild stock and preventing overfishing, the Wildlife Conservation Society has a chart of them from best to worst. You can probably find it on their webpage via a quick google search.

No, I have never eaten fish..Cos I'm allergic!! I did have a tiny bite many years ago, cos I thought it was chicken..result...My whole face and skin swell up and I could hardly breathe!!Scary!!

I don't eat meat either, cos I don't like the taste much, and also I feel sorry for how the farm animals are kept. I think it would be much kinder for people to eat organic meat-it comes from happy animals!!-And everybody deserves a bit of happiness in their life

Sorry, I didn't mean to preaching at all, just my opinion. I don't have anything against fish/meat-eaters, no worries :)

NO WAY!

Eat the happy animals and let the miserable factory farm ones live?

I love fish and shrimp, especially cold boiled with some good, HOT cocktail sauce. There's a restaurant here in Charlotte that has the best shrimp cocktail known to man. They grate their own horseradish. It is HOT. Now I'me getting hungry.

LOL! I've been waiting for someone to post about this:

No, i don't eat fish, i have serious allergies.

EDIT: I also read that Oscar is very delicious...
