do the plants in my tank need to be thrown out?

at the moment im trying to cure fin rot and white spot in my main tank and i also have a fish with ulcers in the hospital tank, but can someone tell me if having real plants in the tank causes reinfection, if so how do i clean the real plants or should they be thrown out as a precaution, i foolishly added new fish to my tank without the proper quarantine, now i am paying the price, but im learning quickly, im still new to keeping fish so any info would be great

id say a definite yes the plants will harbour the parasites,you can treat them with the same stuff your using for the fish as the parasite can be killed when its external to the fish,its a slow process but youl get there in the end
