I wonder, are ALL fish like this? Or is it just bettas? I now own three of them, and I selected the first and the third one based on their personallities I noticed being displayed in their cups. My red guy was purchased because part of his tail had been ripped off and it looked like he'd die :\ I'm extremely surprised at how attatched I've become to all three of the fish.

Yeah, that's what I figured, but I think I'll feel a little more secure about trying Ipos before putting Lil back in the ring. I'll worry less about Lil eating the eggs if I've had at least one successful spawn under my belt, I think
